Marriott Adelphi Hotel,
Liverpool,
Britain 90197, USA
Until the advent of the rocket-liner the Adelphi Hotel was the favoured departure point for passengers travelling on the great ocean steamers to New York, and to the other cities along the Atlantic coast. Today, its old world charm attracts visitors arriving at Liverpool International Rocket Port, and to people taking a break before driving through the tunnel to Ireland. The interior was modelled on that of the liner Titanic, and its interior doubled as the liner in the recent critically-acclaimed Merchant-Ivory movie "Titanic".
51 years of Eastercons in the 51st state!
The Adelphi Hotel has hosted the Eastercon many times before, and its friendly, courteous and helpful staff have made it a firm favourite among fans. This year we are hoping that many more fans from the "1st 50" will visit the "51st" in this Golden Anniversary year of our joining the Union.
