Britannia Adelphi Hotel
Liverpool
England
Until the advent of the jet aircraft the Adelphi Hotel was the favoured departure point for passengers travelling on the great transatlantic ocean liners. The interior was modelled on that of the liner Titanic, and it houses a small museum to the history of that tragic liner and its torpedoing off the coast of the Confederacy by a US U-boat in 1914, which hurled the United Kingdom into the Great War.
The Adelphi Hotel has hosted the Eastercon many times before, and its friendly staff and brisk efficiency has made it a firm favourite among fans.
