Science Fiction fandom in the Commonwealth has come a long way since the Lord Protectors Office lifted its ban on science fiction books during the war with the Common Market. Those first books, brought over as ballast in the ships carrying supplies from our American allies in Massachusetts, Virginia and New Amsterdam may have been a small start, but now we are holding our 25th Eastercon, and celebrating with a host of home-grown talent.

The Adelphi Hotel has hosted the Eastercon twice before, last time for Loncon 2, and its 105 rooms mean we can offer a traditional residential Eastercon with the overwhelming majority of the members staying in the con hotel.
